Alan Spedding used to send his excellent RuSource bi-weekly summaries of rural issues out as PDF documents attached to an email. In fact he still does. But now, and with hardly any extra effort he also uses a ruralnet|online blog as an additional delivery channel.
This makes his material much more accessible. He uses keywords (known as tags) to make it easy to find related items and searching through his whole catalogue is now a breeze. Users can now choose to take a ‘feed’ from his blog and present Alan’s material on their websites thereby giving access to the RuSource service to wider audiences.
Alan chose to receive a 2.5hr, one-to-one training session to get started and he hasn’t looked back since.
