There was an interesting discussion on radio 4 this morning about IVF treatment. There was a lady on talking abut how she failed to conceive after 4 attempts of IVF and that she received a lack of support afterwards. She also mentioned the risks to her body IVF creates - overweight and the risk of cancer, adding that people are not being made aware of the problems associated with IVF?

What do you think? Are there risks? Is motherhood the be-all and end-all?
