Be Sexy: Tips for Women No. 3
Dress to Impress
There’s a biological reason why men honestly can’t help being attracted to women with full lips, slim hourglass bodies and glossy hair. They’re wired to interpret these as signs of youth and health, which indicates that the woman is a prime baby-making machine. It’s the same reason why faces which appear healthier, for instance those with a better complexion, are seen as more desirable in terms of all personality traits compared to those who looked unhealthy.
Luckily though, you can fake it. Ignore temporary fashion and dress to accentuate your waist and exaggerate curves in the right places. Instead of straightening your hair until it’s thin and flat, blow-dry it bouncy; and keep your make-up fresh, light and young. For example, avoid heavily lining your inner lids as this actually makes your eyes appear smaller rather than the wide-eyed look you’re going for, and stick to lighter lip colours as darker shades make your pout appear thinner.

Watch a Horror
Unbelievably, scary films are the ultimate first date experience if you’re keen to kick-start that loving feeling. Short scares cause your body to release a shot of adrenaline, which triggers a number of physiological effects. Your heart beats faster, your breathing becomes deeper and your senses are heightened. Sound like foreplay yet?
And besides the physical effects, a scary movie also increases your feelings of having overcome something together, and activates the man’s desire to protect you. To find out more about how a sharp shock could be good for your love life, Click Here.

Smile and Stare
It sounds obvious, but we’re attracted to people who appear to be attracted to us, and although we judge that unconsciously on a collection of subtle signs, the most obvious are direct eye contact and a happy facial expression.
“It’s really a very basic effect that we are all, at some level at least, aware of - which is that if you smile at people and you maintain eye contact, it makes you more attractive,” said researcher Dr Ben Jones of the University of Aberdeen.
“You are attracted to people who are attracted to you, and that shows attractiveness is not just about physical beauty. What we found at the most basic level is that people like faces with direct gaze more than they like the same faces with averted gaze. In other words, people find it more attractive when they are being looked at.”

Be a Domestic Goddess
If all else fails, drag the object of your attraction into the kitchen for a suggestive cookery class. Research shows that most of us link the kitchen with indulgence and sex.
And in a recent survey, Brits named the kitchen as the hottest place in the home, with one in four confessing to having sex on kitchen surfaces and work tops. To find out more, Click Here.

But Think Twice
It may be best to think carefully before attempting to manipulate nature, though. Research shows that a massive 35 per cent of the reason for a relationship working or not is genetic, pure and simple. In fact, it’s scientifically proven that if your partner has genes that complement yours, you’ll have a happier marriage. It’s because you’re naturally more willing to compromise with and make sacrifices for someone whose DNA presents the optimum genetics for your children. Proof that perhaps it’s in your best interests to let nature take its course!
