Women in the UK are still investing their hard earned cash on boosting their own assets, despite the current economic crises.
With financial strains setting on all over the country, cosmetic surgery provider SurgiCare has announced record figures and a 135 percent increase in UK women boosting their breasts.

“Last month’s figures have absolutely no reflection on the current financial climate in the UK at the moment. In fact, they are record breaking,” said Mark Bury, chief executive at SurgiCare.
“Over double the amount of women underwent breast augmentation, in comparison to last September’s figures, amounting to a whopping 135% increase. Cosmetic surgery is generally flourishing despite the credit crunch, with most procedures on the up, but breast augmentation is especially booming this year.”
He believes that many women are having breast enhancement to cheer themselves up, or that their appearance and self confidence takes precedence over their annual holiday or new car as looking good is a physical defence in hard times.”
Other cosmetic surgery providers have noted similar booms.

“It has been well documented that people invest in themselves in times of economic instability, and we are definitely seeing evidence of this,” said consultant surgeon Brian Newman.
“Workers are nervous about their future career prospects and are taking steps to make sure they are not overlooked because of their personal appearance.”
